These Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are a delicious and easy appetizer that’s perfect for parties, game days, or a quick snack. The combination of savory sausage, tangy Rotel, and creamy cream cheese creates a flavor explosion in every bite.
Ingredients
Breakfast sausage (mild or spicy) – 1 lb
Cream cheese, softened – 8 oz
Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies, drained – 1 can (10 oz)
Shredded cheddar cheese – 1½ cups
Bisquick or self-rising flour – 1½ cups
Garlic powder (optional) – 1 teaspoon
Onion powder (optional) – ½ teaspoon
Black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Scoop out the sausage mixture and roll it into 1- to 1 1/2-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
